The Lenoir-Rhyne Youth Chorus is an educationally based choral ensemble program sponsored by Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. This organization brought together young musicians in grades three through twelve in the local and surrounding communities to offer advanced choral training and to form lasting relationships with others and develop a lifelong appreciation of music.
As Artistic Director, I was given the opportunity to revamp the choir’s handbook and communication practices and set artistic vision for the choir’s continued growth and development.
